Broxburn Vegtables – Lethbridge, Alberta
Broxburn prides themselves on growing superior quality greenhouse vegetables. The peppers and tomatoes are vine ripened before being picked. Broxburn controls pests with predators in the greenhouse instead of using pesticides. Broxburn also has field grown broccoli, cauliflowers and you-pick strawberries, raspberries and currants.

Broek Pork Acres – Coalhurst, Alberta
Joanne and Allen Venden Broek come from a farming background in southern Alberta. They raise market hogs on pasture with sunshine, space, grain and hay. No antibiotics, growth stimulants or animal by products are used in the hog’s feed. The Vanden Broek’s have their own provincial inspected processing plant so they have control over the hogs and markets to local Calgary restaurants and butcher shops.

Ewe-nique Farms – Champion, Alberta
Ewe-nique Farms started 16 years ago with 40 ewes and over the years they have expanded to over 350 ewes. Owned and operated by Bert and Caroline Vande Bruinhorst and with the help of their children they raise and market lambs. The lambs are raised on lush green pastures all summer and are finished with natural grain and hay rations. No artificial growth hormones or animal byproducts are used. The family processes their lambs in ther own provincially inspected plant and markets to local Calgary restaurants and butcher shops.

Spragg Pastured Pork – Rosemary, Alberta
Located in Rosemary, Alberta; Spragg Pastures is operated by Greg and Bonnie Spragg. Their hogs are raised in pastures with natural grain with no antibiotics, growth hormones, or animal byproducts. Humanely raised in a low stress environmentally friendly manner the hogs develop personalities and even attitudes. Spragg pork is processed in their own provincially inspected plant and marketed only in Alberta.

Noble Farms Duck – Nobelford, Alberta
Owned and operated by Gerwin Van Deuveren, Noble Duck Farm raises Pekin ducks on pastures with high quality natural grain to produce consistent and delicious meat year round. The ducks are free of any antibiotics, growth hormones or animal by products. Noble Ducks are marketed by Gerwin to southern Alberta restaurants and butcher shops.

Chinook Honey – Okotoks, Alberta
Chinook Honey started as a hobby for Art Andrews over that years has developed into a thriving business. Now with the help of his wife Cherie Andrews, they now have over 280 hives producing southern Alberta honey and natural products made from honey. Chinook Honey is also Alberta’s first producer of honey wine.

Fairwinds Goat Farm – Fort Mcleod
Fairwinds’ goats are bred and raised on the farm located just outside of Fort Macleod, owned and operated by Ben and Anita Oudshoon. The ladies at Fairwinds are happy pastured, rasied with organic hay, whole barley, minerals and salts. The goats’ milk is pasteurized but not homogenized. They also produce yogurt, sour cream and gouda. All products are processed in the farm’s own provincially-inspected plant marketed only in Alberta.
